Successful revival of 30 year cryogenic processed heart
Viva first acquired the cryogenic facility Kry-Con in 2008. A pleasant surprising inclusion were some abandoned specimens. Among them was a heart from a 85 year old that was cryo-processed 30 years previous. After clearing legal, we proceeded to update the condition of the heart with neuro antibodies and direct-injection steroids. A disease that has a simple fix today claimed the lives of many yesterday. On the third electrical stimulus, the heart jumped, literally, almost off the table.
